Mark 19:26
What did you want to be when you grew up?: Since I was around
the age of 10, I knew that I wanted to do something with
computers. Here I am, now studying Media Communications, a major
in which computers are a necessity.
Why did you choose to be
involved with WGM?: I was attending Global Café
weekly, and all of the people on the cabinet were really nice. I
decided it was definitely a place that I wanted to be a part of.
What "luxury item" do you
take with you on any mission trip?: a camera
What's the strangest thing you've eaten on the mission field?:
A local gave me this white soup stuff – it was like
extremely watery cold grits.
What words of advice would
you give someone who is about to depart on their first missions
experience?: If you’re having trouble getting your
money in, just trust God, and He’ll provide. Don’t be afraid to
approach people and ask them for money. It’s not for you, after
all, it’s for God! Once you’re there, you may encounter hard
days, but just trust God, and when you see the results of your
labor, it will all be worth it.
