Be Open. Open yourself up to God, the missionaries, and the national people. Expect and try new things! Let God use you and touch you in anyway possible. Things will be different, and that is the beauty of missions. You will experience God in a new and different way, so let go and trust Him. Anything is possible!

For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear, but you received the Spirit of sonship.
[a] And by him we cry, "Abba,[b] Father." 16The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God's children. 17Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.

Romans 8:15-17 (NIV)
