Children's Hospital

The third day of our visit allowed us the opportunity to visit Cordoba's children's hospital.  We met the founder of the hospital and coordinators of the volunteer staff who provide programs for the children and their visiting families.  Our group presented an entertaining program for the families and those children well enough to leave their beds.  This was followed by face painting and making dozens and dozens of balloon animals!  For those kids who couldn't make it out of their rooms, they were treated by a visit from Megan, the clown, who left each child with his or her own balloon creature. We were happy to leave an ample supply of craft materials (donated by our friends at Asbury) with the hospital's volunteer staff for future craft times with the children (see photo below).
