Good evening!

Monday is over and again, we will be heading to bed quite tired! We spent today at William Morris School, a privately-operated school for students in kindergarten through secondary school.

Upon arrival, we went to staff devotions where the director of the school greeted our team with selected Scripture readings from the book of Nehemiah. Her devotional was encouraging. She said that the Christian educators of this school saw themselves as "building walls" in providing a quality, Christian education for their students -- 90% of the high school students are not from Christian families. Sadly, due to a significant drop in income from the trust that subsidizes the costs of operating the school, regular upkeep to the school's literal walls have been unfinished for a year. Peeling paint and graffiti decorated many of the classroom walls until today.

Today classes were cancelled and teachers and parents turned out with excitement to help our team paint their school with paint purchased with our team's project money. We estimate that there were over 50 of us painting this urban-campus complex, a series of multiple buildings on a single block that opened up to a central courtyard. It was a fun experience to participate in this diverse group of Christian brothers and sisters. Tomorrow we return to finish our work and provide morning devotions for the staff. Later we will provide the program for the school's chapel service. We have full freedom to be evangelistic.

Tomorrow afternoon we head to the Children's hospital. Pray for continued efforts to release the items held in customs. Nathan and Mr. Moon (our missionary host) spent the entire day dealing with this matter. They will probably also spend much of tomorrow before this is resolved.

Continue to keep us in your prayers. We will try to send a picture tomorrow.
