Free Time
Free time was looked forward to by all. Some campers and counselors needed
that time to get a shower and get ready for the evening activities. Others
used it to continue what they started during the recreation time. While we
didn't let the campers nap during this hour (we wanted them to sleep at night)
several of our team members as well as others in the staff used this time to
recharge for the rest of the day.
Even with the resting, this was by no means a quiet part of
the day. Many games of Uno and Dutch Blitz raged while other groups shot
hoops or sang songs.
