Workshops

Every morning the students were able to choose a different workshop to attend.  The workshops included subjects from American Football and Baseball to weddings and driving a car.  The workshops allowed our team members to use our areas of interest or expertise to teach specific vocabulary that the campers may not have heard in school.  The tennis workshop taught the students that the word "love" can also mean "zero."  Campers learned the "cup dance" in the rhythm workshop and techniques of watercolor in the painting workshop.  Not all of the workshops were practical.  There were workshops on surviving quicksand and shark attacks as well as one teaching magic tricks.  The workshops were a fun and interactive way to teach English.
