Dear Friends and Family,
Today was another great day down
here in Papua New Guinea! The day
started with Nathan teaching a
lesson at the college on the
inductive Bible study method. (The
picture below shows the rest of the
team working along with the rest of
the class while Nathan taught.)
After class, we worked for about an
hour before breaking for lunch.
After lunch, we managed a good three
more hours of landscaping the
college grounds before dinner. After
dinner, we enjoyed a few hours of
card games with Bethany, the
Bennett’s daughter, in our flat here
at the mission guest house.
Tomorrow we will take a break
from landscaping and travel to a
more remote village outside of Mount
Hagen. The Bennett’s have friends
from this village and they will show
us around. In the afternoon, we will
return to the Bible college and play
some sport games with the students.
(We hope to introduce the great
American tradition of Ultimate
Frisbee to the people of Papua New
Guinea.)
I’m sure we will be full of
stories about the village, so look
forward to an interesting update
tomorrow night. Keep us in your
prayers as we travel and meet new
people.
