Moms and Dads,
Previet! Once again It's been a blessed day in Ukraine. God has been so
true and full of blessings! We started off the day working on the hallway
to the youth room. Ernie and Bill said that in the beginning it was the
best part, but considering the rain of crusty mold that poured down at the
slightest touch I would not have wanted to see the worst. We spent most of
the morning scraping the walls and prepping them for painting! We decided
on a couple lovely shades of orange to complement the proceding blue and
florescent green youth rooms. Then Jen helped drill about a 2 foot hole
for wiring -- talk about excitement.
After lunch it was off to English class to fill in for Jo who was
traveling to Primorsk with Ernie. It was good times as the students
completed their assignments to present a sales pitch and were then
separated into discussion groups. The discussions are getting more and
more involved in the Gospel so please be praying for clarity and
understanding on both sides.
On the other hand Bill decided to give motor scooter rides to all who
wanted. All was fine and well and Joanna, Heather and Anastasia made their
first trips. However on Heather's second tip there seams to have been a
little "spillage" as they said. It seams that the bike was going
so slow down a rut that it simply fell over! They came back with a couple
of scratches (very small), but most of all a good laugh.
Well its been a long day and these college kids are ready for bed at a
whopping 10:00 pm!!! So we send our love and blessings to you all !! Much
Love, your daughters
Heather, Jennifer,
