| Hello Family and Friends! Hark, one more day has passed.
Sad but true. So, I assume you have heard about our orange turned peachy
room. Well, it's still pretty bright! Tomorrow we hope to tone it down
some by painting palm trees and some other beachy stuff. Indeed it is in
much need of some calming down. We started our morning out with a
wonderful batch of pancakes. Yummy! We sure are going to miss Anna's
cooking greatly! Then we headed on over to Bill and Robert's apartment to
get a mop. The elevator was the highlight of the trip. It's limit was at
the max 4 Joanna-sized people. At the max!!! So, it took 3 elevator trips
to get us all up the 7 flights of uneven stories. The apartment was nicer
than expected. The climb down the stairs was uneven but fun. Then we
headed to the center for another day of painting and scraping. Heather,
Jennifer, Cydil, and Anastasia mopped the floors (which didn't seem to
help much) and finished the decorative blue swirls in the green room.
While all of this fun was happening Joanna stood in front of a door
scraping for three straight hours. They finally completed their task and
went home to a wonderful lunch. They took showers and some even napped.
Then we headed off to the center again. Heather, Anastasia, and Cydil went
with Jo to her English class and Joanna and Jennifer went to the youth
center and played games. In the English class they got to share the gospel
with the students. Joanna and Jennifer worked on their Russian with the
kids they were playing with. We took the bus home and had a simple dinner
and watched a movie. It was a pleasant and relaxing evening. Well, that's
all for now! We pray everything is going well back home. You're in our
prayers! We love you! With His Love and Ours, |
