What "luxury item" do you take with you on any mission trip?:
Airplane reading and Dove facial cleansing cloths
What's the strangest thing you've eaten overseas?:
Haggis, although I'm sure I've probably had other unusual things.  I just don't ask!
What words of advice would you give someone who is about to depart on their first missions experience?:  Keep a journal or if you're not a writer, take lots of photos (you will never regret taking too many pictures)! -- I remember how much my first missions experience changed me. To be reminded of how God worked in me and through me as recorded in my journal is invaluable.
