Freshman Class Serve at WGM

Freshman orientation is underway here at Asbury University! It has been exciting to welcome the Ransomed Class to Asbury this week, introducing them to life on campus. As part of orientation, tonight the freshmen broke into groups to take part in service projects across the city of Wilmore. We were incredibly blessed to have a group of 12 freshman (as well as their 2 sophomore leaders) come to the center to help us prepare for the beginning of the semester.

As you can see from the pictures, we kept the group busy pulling weeds, burning brush, and cleaning out our trash room so we could re-organize it! (We even found a tiny furry friend living in the cabinet of the trash room before we moved it. No worries, we gave him a good new home!)

Many thanks to the Ransomed Class and all of their hard work! We look forward to seeing you around campus and at the center over the next four years!
